- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I would give a no stars if possible. The tax return preparer did not inform us of the the $35 fee to pay for the "tax service" using our refund. If we had known of the $35 fee we would have paid for the "tax service" in cash. The tax return was already submitted to the IRS by the time we saw the $35 fee which was not mentioned even once. We contacted the tax preparer and she asked her manager. They said there was nothing they could do. The H&R Block location we visited has incredibly poor service and management.
